Burgh Island Tour by Chauffeur & Taxi

“The UK was everything I thought it would be - steeped in wonderful history. When I reflect back on the tour, I believe that for me it was a turning point, an awakening, both professionally and personally; perhaps an inner as well as an outer journey.”
Judy Mock, J Mock Marketing Inc, London, Canada

“From the wonder of the ancient ruins to the nostalgia and beauty of Burgh Island, it was an inspirational tour. Russell proved to be more than a tour guide, providing an element of life coaching ‘on the go’, both individually and collectively.”
Colleen Elliot, Brucefield, Canada

“Russell was very patient and attentive and took me on a five day fast-track tour of Southern England, tailored to my interests in the Royal Family, food and fashion. We even had dinner with Elizabeth I and the Earl of Warwick which was fun and exciting”
Loretta Ferraro, Marin Realty Experts, San Francisco, USA

Ever wondered what it would be like to be to be transported back to the 1930’s during the period of decadence and the Charleston?

Need to have some time-out from your company, the credit crunch and the recession? Want some fun and willing to try something different?

Then...Tailored Tours UK are proud to present:

The Burgh Island Nostalgic Tour

Burgh Island Hotel made famous in the 1930’s by Agatha Christie, Noel Coward, Amy Johnson, Winston Churchill, Edward Windsor and Wallis Simpson and many more has now been
refurbished back to its former glory. The tour culminates in a dinner at this famous hotel voted as one of the most romantic places in the world. Men’s dress code is strictly black tie and the women are dressed in flapper gear of the period. Dance away to the sounds of a crooner and try the Charleston. Have pre-dinner cocktails in the Palm Room and experience how it was for the privileged few. Dinner and drinks at this hotel is without doubt the experience of a lifetime and their attention to detail is second to none. Click here for Burgh Island
